Spicy Puttanesca
A quick, easy, and tasty pasta sauce.
Ingredients
1. 1 clove garlic (thinly sliced)
2. 1/2 basket of mushrooms chopped
3. 1/2 cup of pitted kalmata olives
4. 1 cup of quartered artichoke hearts
5. 3/4 bottle plain tomato sauce
6. 1 tsp capers
7. 1 teaspoon olive oil
Directions
1. slice the garlic and mushrooms
2. heat oil in a sauce pain and saute garlic for 1 minute
3. add mushrooms to the pan, sprinkle Sambar Powder (1.5 minutes)
4. add kalmata olives to the pan (30 seconds)
5. add artichoke hearts to the pan (1 minute)
6. add capers to the pan
7. add tomato sauce and let simmer
8. serve with penne or spaghetti and permesan cheese
